First, all the lessons and work that went into them are credited to Tambaqui Balthazar, who gave them to me so that this course could be run again. So if you see him, thank him. He did an excellent job making everything easy to understand. They have been changed slightly, due to new versions of irc and new rules, but the original idea is by him.

Welcome to the Half Term class, HOL Quidditch. Assignments and lessons will be posted monthly, and if you have taken this class before and passed it, you may not take it again. Not enough has changed from last term to this term to make people eligible to sign up again. However, if you signed up for the class before and did not pass it, you are eligible to sign up again.

There will be FOUR assignments and FOUR extra credits for this class. These are complete at this time, however they have not all been uploaded to the server. Each assignment is worth 30 points, each extra credit is also worth 30 points. If you complete all of these correctly you will receive 240 points. The final (which will be at the end of term) will be worth 60 points, bringing the point total to 300.

Three of the assignments (1, 2 and 3) and the exam for this class ARE mandatory. The extra credit is not and the 4th assignment is not. The reason it is mandatory is because this class gets a lot of students, and the easiest way to run it is if the same thing has to be done by everyone. If you complete these, at the end of term you will receive a quill for your hard work.

Extensions will be permitted, provided I am contacted about them BEFORE the due date of the assignment and they will only allow a 2 week extension after the due date. There is NO extension allowed for the exam.
